reconciled by the light

a new book.....reconciled by the light;  about the unthikable.  Teen suicide.  hard to say.

"There is a saying - Grief shared is halved and joy shared is doubled. Your story together with Josh's has the power to heal that grief."  ~

Patricia Titus, RN, Duke University Hospital

Glad my friends could do this;  the grief work is similar to trauma work, just a bit different.
But the healing is the same;  profound.

We live in the spiritual world NOW ~
Now is the time to prepare for out eternal life.
let's start by listening to one another;  living for one another.
it takes skills we need to learn, and we CAN~!

My Bishop in California was Bishop Pike.  What an unconventional, joyful man he was!

we had communion in our homes, he sang songs of the people.
He used his skills as a lawyer to defend the poor.....though in a powerful, official position.  he had enemies.  He tried to love.
He was devasted when he lost his son, and he too communicated with his son.
And caused even MORE controversy than his defense of the poor had been.
He must be happy about this book, too.
