| | I wish I had the pictures! recently, I saw a picture of a pretty large red snapper....caught by a 17 year old boy, about 30 years ago. Next to that photo, was that boy grown up with HIS 17 year old daughter, who had caught just about the same size fish. 
Now, when the stocks are depleted.....the SIZE goes down. Didn't do that here. Scientists often disagree. hire them to find what you want them to. Well, that is what has happened here. Some folks will stand to GAIN from closing the snapper fishing - to BOTH recreational and commercial fishing.
